Last Thursday, August 23, AmeriCare Health & Retirement, Inc., the new owner of Vista Medical Plaza, hosted its first Physician Mixer for tenants in the medical office building since acquiring the property earlier this year.
The events are designed and hosted by building management primarily to help foster relationships among physicians and staff as well as to encourage intra-building referrals.
“Several years ago, we piloted this type of event at our Encinitas medical office campus after hearing multiple time from our physicians that they would appreciate a casual opportunity to interact with their fellow colleagues,” said Greg Petree, President of AmeriCare Medical Properties – the property management subsidiary of AmeriCare health and Retirement, Inc.
” They were looking for increased opportunities to build professional relationships and also to further develop intra-building referrals. The program was an enormous success and has been going on now for nearly five years. We are excited to introduce this same type of event at Vista Medical Plaza.”
Gatherings such as these also provide an opportunity for management to share upcoming capital improvement plans for the health center with their physician tenants. Sprinkled though out the event was information highlighting some of AmeriCare’s recent accomplishments in the first six months of ownership.
“We have some great building enhancement ideas currently in development and look forward to sharing our initial drawings with our tenants soon,” stated Mr. Petree. “Our plan is to bring both the property’s first impression and, over time, the tenant spaces themselves up to today’s class “A” medical standard.”
